Our Environment
Spa Samsara has been thoughtfully designed to be a serene space harmoniously balancing the elements of Ayurveda – Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Our treatment rooms incorporate these elements and are intimate spaces of renewal and reflection. Each room has a specially appointed hydrotherapy facility which is such an important part of a Day Spa. This also means that your treatment will involve minimal moving around from one room to another. Our treatment tables have been lovingly handcrafted by a carpenter out of solid wood and custom made natural latex mattresses and are very comfortable to lie on.
When you enter our spa you will hear the sounds of eastern inspired and sacred music and smell the aroma of organic aromatherapy. Our retail space is stocked with all natural and organic Signature Spa Samsara products and exclusive professional spa and beauty skincare which you may want to take home with you to continue treating yourself at home to optimise the benefits from your spa treatment. In addition to these, we also have handmade natural soy and beeswax candles and soaps, organic Signature herbal teas and great gift ideas including our beautifully presented Gift Vouchers. Feel free to browse, experience the sample products and ask us as many questions as you like, as we love educating our guests on wellness and spa.

Water Room
The water room incorporates a Geisha Spa Bath. This is a purpose built deep tub hydrotherapy spa bath that was originally designed by and Australian company for treating hospital patients. The deep tub means that your whole body is submerged in water and your spine is supported in an upright position, unlike a traditional soak tub. The jets are gentle yet effective in relaxing the muscles and promoting a feeling of peace and calm. This spa may be enjoyed by one or two people. You may enjoy the Geisha Spa in our Signature Treatments of Himalayan Harmony, Serendipity Dreaming and Mandi Luluran. You can also incorporate the spa as a Treatment Enhancer with another treatment such a facial or massage and choose your own salts, milks and clays to add.
Earth Room
The Earth room has a monsoon shower which conserves water use. The shower is a part of the room and lined with beautiful sandstone tiles and natural pebbles. We use this room for our body treatments where the shower is just a step away from your bed, making the treatment more relaxing as you don’t have to walk far. You may find yourself in this room for a Signature ritual such as our luxurious Happy Face facial or detoxifying Ancient Ocean Cleanse.
Fire Room
The fire room has within it a custom designed steam room, a room within a room. It is lined in beautiful sandstone tiles and natural pebbles. The Finnish steam system ensures the steam delivered is warm but never uncomfortably hot. Unlike a Sauna which is a dry heat, steam helps keep the skin hydrated and is used in Ayurveda to promote perspiration which helps rid the body of stored toxins and relax the muscles, which is great before a massage, while also increasing the circulation. We add organic Eucalyptus essential oil to our steam to enhance your experience as this is a wonderful oil to aid in the detoxification process. We have incorporated the steam room into our Signature Rituals of Balinese Boreh and Herbal Healer which are wonderful for energising a sluggish metabolism and refining the skin. You may also choose to include the steam as a Treatment Enhancer with another treatment. We highly recommend this before a massage to loosen the muscles. You may even choose a self application of exfoliating salts or detoxifying clay with the steam for additional benefits.
Air Room
This is a beautfiul room looking out to our courtyard that we use for massage, facials, hand and foot treatment and waxing and tinting. You may find yourself here for our Signature Rituals of Head in the Clouds, Journey of a 1000 miles or the invigorating Ayurvedic Marma Massage.
Retreat Room
You will be escorted to our Retreat after your treatment to relax with a herbal tea of your choice and prepare to enter the real world again. We offer a range of our Signature organic herbal tea in five naturopathic blends – Earth to calm, Water to detoxify, Fire to energise, Air to refresh, and Space to strengthen. These blends are available for you buy and enjoy at home or to give away as a gift.
